Steve Perdue graduated from Velva High School before attending Dickinson State University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration in 1989. He and his wife, Bernadette, have four children and eight grandchildren, with a ninth expected in October. They currently live on their farm in Ray, North Dakota, where they have farmed for the past 42 years.
Steve currently serves as the Vice President of the DSU Heritage Foundation Board. He was inspired to join the board out of a strong desire to give back to the university that gave him so much.
One of Steve’s main goals is to continue the DSU Heritage Foundation’s growth in scholarships for future generations of students. Over the years, he has been actively involved with the university through service on several committees, including the Presidential Search Committee and the Blue Hawk Touchdown Club Board. He is also a donor to the DSU Heritage Foundation.
Fun fact: Steve memorizes phone numbers instead of saving them in his phone.
