Donor Spotlight: Quality Quick Print – Collaboration, Community, and Commitment

Quality Quick Print (QQP) opened in Dickinson 46 years ago, with the mission “to build a great business by delivering outstanding products and services to our customers, along with attracting and developing talented people,” said Laurie Strommen, QQP General Manager. Dickinson State University (DSU) became one of the first clients of the local printing business. Since the partnership, it has expanded to include several scholarship opportunities for DSU students, thanks to donations by QQP.

QQP hopes to encourage future local business growth by inspiring young entrepreneurs to “pursue their education, stay rooted in Dickinson, and strengthen our growing youth professional workforce” today. The staff enjoys receiving thank-you letters from each year’s scholarship recipients and hearing about the students’ goals and achievements. QQP is particularly proud of this past year as a donor, due in part to the support of major products between QQP and DSU, such as updating signage and graphics across campus and publishing the 100 Years of DSU Football Legacy Book.

“Quality Quick Print exemplifies what sustained donor participation looks like in action. Their long-standing partnership with Dickinson State University has created meaningful, lasting opportunities for students while strengthening the connection between education and the local business community," said Ty Orton, Executive Director of the DSU Heritage Foundation.

The respect and appreciation between QQP and DSU are evident not only in the products produced and the students supported, but also in the staff's passion. “Our relationship with DSU and the Dickinson community is something we truly cherish,” said Strommen. “We’re grateful for the trust, collaboration, and commitment to our community — and we look forward to continuing the partnership with gratitude and pride.”
