Dickinson State University (DSU) Rodeo wrapped up an impressive rodeo season at the College National Finals Rodeo this June, in Casper Wyoming. The Blue Hawks qualified six student-athletes across three events at the national finals and ended the week with standout performances from student-athletes Molly Rotenberger, Brody Froelich, and Jaysee Jones.

Rotenberger finished 7th in the nation in goat tying, Jones earned a 10th-place national finish in the same event, and Froelich placed 22nd nationally in saddle bronc riding.
"To take six student-athletes to the College National Finals Rodeo and qualify in three different events speaks volumes about the dedication and work ethic of this team,” said Head Coach Joe Schmidt. “Having a 7th-place and a 10th-place national finish in goat tying is an incredible accomplishment on the biggest stage in college rodeo. With only 18 students competing for DSU Rodeo, sending six to nationals is a testament to the commitment, talent, and culture we've built. DSU Rodeo is alive and well, and these results show that we're continuing to compete with the best programs in the country. I'm proud of every student-athlete who represented our university, our community, and our program."

The future remains bright for DSU Rodeo, with the Blue Hawks continuing to build on a culture of hard work and determination. For now, the current and incoming rodeo athletes will be preparing for the upcoming season at the Dale Little Soldier Arena.
