From the Beginning: Amanda’s Dedication to DSU HF

The DSU Heritage Foundation is proud to recognize Amanda Bramhall for her years of service and her steady leadership in all things financial. One of the “originals,” Amanda joined the Foundation in 2015 and has been a stabilizing force from the very beginning.

In her role, Amanda manages donation deposits, processes and pays bills, enters pledges, prepares financial reports for committee and board meetings, tracks endowment earnings, and coordinates with auditors for the Foundation’s annual audit and IRS Form 990

completions. Her precision and professionalism have built trust with donors while ensuring the Foundation’s financial strength.

Reflecting on her role, Amanda shared, “With being one of the originals to be a part of the start of the Foundation, I guess I am proud to see what all has been accomplished and am proud to be a part of it. We have an awesome team and work environment, and I like how I can have an impact in different ways on the students that work here. It’s a great feeling to know I am a part of such a great place.”

Executive Director Ty Orton noted, “Amanda is a dedicated employee who cares about the foundation and our students. She cares about all employees and wants to see all succeed. She takes a large amount of pride in her work and strives to always learn and improve her area. She is an asset to the foundation and has been a stabilizing force for the foundation since the inception of the foundation in 2016.”

Outside of her role, Amanda enjoys camping, working on craft projects, and spending time with her family and dogs—interests that reflect the same care and balance she brings to her work at the Foundation.
