The game against the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes was nothing short of an arctic showdown. Fans braved freezing temperatures while bundled in layers of Blue Hawk pride.
The weather didn’t quell the enthusiasm of fans, alumni, family, and friends who packed the stands to enjoy the first Blue Hawk home playoff game since 2004.
“Thank you to everyone who showed up to support Blue Hawk football,” said Dickinson State University Acting President Ty Orton. “The dedication and energy of our fans illustrate what makes Blue Hawk Nation special.”
Saturday afternoon at the Biesiot Activities Center was more than a game, it was proof that Blue Hawk spirit is as unyielding as a North Dakota winter.
