Dan Weber has served as an independent insurance agent for more than 30 years and has owned his family’s agency in Casselton, North Dakota, since 2000. He and his wife, Carol, work together in the office and enjoy traveling and spending time at the lake during the summer. They are also proud grandparents to three grandchildren under the age of 3.
As a member of the DSU Heritage Foundation (DSU HF) Board, Weber brings decades of business experience to help guide fundraising efforts and ensure fiscal responsibility as the DSU HF continues to grow.
“I am a firm believer in giving back,” he said. “DSU gave so much to me in many different ways, and it is the least I can do to give my time and efforts back to the university.”

For students navigating the college experience, he recommends treating their education like a full-time job. Dedicate time each day to class, homework and studying, while also taking advantage of opportunities to meet new people and build connections.
Fun fact: Weber and his family are big fans of Disney World.
