Eric Seiler did not always know he would end up owning a chiropractic clinic, but he always knew he wanted to stay close to home. Born and raised in Dickinson, North Dakota, he graduated from Dickinson High School in 2010 and later returned home to continue his education and baseball career at Dickinson State University (DSU). After initially starting his college journey at North Dakota State University in Fargo, he realized Dickinson was where he needed to be. As he put it, “Dickinson has always been home,” and the opportunity to come back and play baseball for the Blue Hawks helped solidify that decision.

At DSU, Seiler pursued a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Business Administration. His time was shaped both in the classroom and on the baseball field, where he balanced academics with collegiate athletics. Reflecting on his time at DSU, Seiler said, “My time at DSU was nothing but great. I got a quality education, I met lifelong friends, and my time at the University gave me the tools and knowledge to get me where I am today.”
After graduating from DSU in 2015, Seiler continued his education at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2020. His path to chiropractic care was influenced early on by Dr. Tim Peters, who had helped both him and members of his family. “He was a big influence on my choice to pursue the chiropractic profession,” Seiler said, noting the lasting impact that experience had on his career direction.
Following his doctorate, Seiler returned to Dickinson to begin building his career. After entering the profession, Seiler eventually purchased Back in Balance Wellness Center LLC. Since then, he has continued to expand the clinic alongside two other chiropractors. Together, they have grown the practice into a newly renovated space, expanding chiropractic services in Dickinson and the surrounding communities.

Today, he and his wife, Kenzie, are raising their three children, Grady, Archer, and Drue, in the community they call home. From student-athlete at DSU to clinic owner in his hometown, he credits his experiences as a Blue Hawk for helping shape his path and preparing him for what came next.
